Stilla I agree in part, but companies also set the standard. Had these major car companies made an effort to push the electric car then consumers would feel persuaded to buy them simply because of lack of options. Millions of people would still by Windows XP yet Windows refuses to make or sell XP which in turn forces the majority of PC users to get Vista. Same with electric cars if these companies in a way forced people to buy them, they would now be just as popular.

SOMEONE STOLE MY SCOOTER

this freaking sucks big time.
someone had to break the wheel lock then dragged it through the grass a little ways when they noticed the back wheel had a chain on it.

well as i went to pay he swatted my card away and paid for both me and my friend.
he said something along the lines of, "you boys look like you work hard it's on me".

Today me and my friend went to lunch, while we were waiting to pay a guy made some small talk with us. Well as I went to pay he swatted my card away and paid for both me and my friend. He said something along the lines of, "you boys look like you work hard it's on me". He then asked what we did, we said we edited videos to put up on servers with out stating specifics. He then mentioned he could use some video editing and handed us his card. He was the pastor of a local church. Anyways I have never seen a JW do this for a total stranger. Even if he was trying to advertise for his church is was still a wonderful gesture that you just never see.

You may be familiar with this cathy but in the Salisbury NC assembly hall they have some Rutherford memorabilia there. It even shows some of the pyramidology stuff. I wouldn't put a dub to destroy some books, but I just don't think it's as large scale as Bergman is trying to make it to be.

They've been comin' around the neighborhood
by BlackSwan of Memphis inand they caught me at home a couple of times.. a couple of months ago, two nice, very young men (teens) came to the door.. my dog was barking, my older one was walking around without clothes and all i could think of was "i'm soooooooooooo not up for this today.".
so, i said "yeah, uhm, i'm an apostate.
" the big grins dissapeared and they walked away.. the other day, my bathroom plumbing is getting rerigged and there's a ton of stuff going on, i'm dripping wet from the pool and two woman come up my drive..

The dubs must be lazy in Charlotte, going on 5 years now and I have only had one JW run in. The one time it did happen I wasn't at my house. I keep waiting for the knock one Saturday morning but it never comes.

I just want to ring in one more time, it should be noted that books such as COC could be stolen by active ex witness or just others who simply want to keep the book. Hell I've stolen a book from the library before because I liked it so much. Again no one has really offered any evidence that aside from anecdotal the Watchtower or Elders are trying to rid the world of apostate books. Perhaps after that article showing someone throwing away a book caused a bit of blowback for a bit, which I could see. However to claim that there is still this attitude among witnesses now I find very hard to believe. Sometimes they won't even buy stuff from yard sales for fear of demon activity so why would they actively go to a library and check out a book a to destroy it?
Also Gary you seem to be showing signs of active JW cognitive dissonance. Just my observation.
